SE4 Beta 2 Release
We recently released SocialEngine 4 Beta 2, available for download from your client area. If you had any issues with the initial release, we recommend a clean reinstall. If you do install the new beta in the same directory as the old one, make sure to remove the /application/settings/database.php file.
Please send us bug reports (and some virtual love if you'd like) through the email provided in the client area so we can continue improving SocialEngine. Thanks for the great feedback so far!
UPDATE: We recommend waiting for the final release of SocialEngine for use on any production websites. There will be an upgrade path from the beta to the final.

I've installed the Beta2 ... the way you guys restructure SE is very amazing, you guyz'd anticipate the future needs of what a social network site will need. It is a must then if you guyz give the manual how to loud balancing the system, or at least how to applied the SE if we have so many user (1 million maybe) so it is not possible if we just rely on a single server...can we put one application on different server or something like that... SE4 is very powerful, i've never seen anything like that, 4 thumbs up (elgg does have similar structure but we can rely it for too many user...too slow) I hereby certify (for you who're not the client of SE)... never think twice to put your decision on SE ... you won't regret it ... really worth the price ... and one thing for sure ... it would be your bridge to be the next Mark Zuckerberg .... so what are you waiting for .... Cheers from Indonesia

Is it possible to install a version of SE4 on a subdirectory on our website? I would liek to do some testing and design changes before I flip the switch and would like to be able to pull all current user data intot he new template while I make design changes. Thanks, the new version looks promising!

Just tried Beta 2 here is what i found: Every thing look good i think have some problem with Video Plugin, i have installed the Video Beta2 , After the file is uploaded it's showing the Default thumb, if you try to see the video it's says:The video you are looking for does not exist or has not been processed yet. So i went Admin looking for any setting that may be causing the video to not display but the setting was fine. Videos From You tube , Vimeo it's showing just fine. Any body else had the same Problem? Or there is some thing that i am doing wrong? I loving this version 4. thank you.

A report of which bugs were fixed would have been nice, so far I've only noticed the timestamps are working better. So far I'm very Impressed with SE4, I'd been looking into implimenting jQuery to SE3 to keep things current, have no need to now. Looking forward to seeing more updates, thanks SE team.
