SE4 Beta 3 Release
The third beta of SocialEngine 4 has been released and is available for download from the client area. This should fix a majority of the bugs preventing installation and general use (and adds some cool features too). As with previous betas, we recommend a clean reinstall if possible since there are many moving parts between the beta versions and having everyone on the same page makes bug reporting more consistent. Speaking of which, please continue to report bugs as you find them. We're getting closer to a final release!

Anyone recommend a host? Mine (powweb) does not seem to work with SE4-beta3.

wale O, thanks for the link... If your posting a video from youtube shouldn't the title info be filled in automatically? When you create an event in a group, and go to the event page there appears to be no way to associate it with the group that created it. Also when I join the event &/or the group I do not get details about the event, just a page with the pic, title and option to leave or share the event. This version looks very promising but some basic associations appear to be missing.

is it possible to rewrite the urls like you could with v3, or are the all going to be seo ready?

Is there a dev forum or somewhere where we can report bugs as we find them? I am running into a few. cheers!

can third party scripts written for SE3 work on the new platform? Or would we have to wait for the updates

@ Ken, Once you've created the campaign, use the the drag 'n drop system they've made to place the ad campaign where you like.

Hi team, is there somewhere we can see the new features SE4 adds? Also, will this release provide the ability to add static pages from the CMS? - Thanks

The "Ad" campains. Can you make it like the old one, where we get to chose the location of the ad? Maybe even a pre-set size to each Ad.

As privacy is one of the main topics for social networks, Social Engine needs to be ahead of all these complaints by these protestsgroups from all over the world in my opinion. So the more a user can hide and protect the better it is for all of us.
