  At first glance I thought it looked like a good product. But further review has made me very weary. To be fair I have not used the product. But at the exorbatant price, I would expect no deceptive tactics. The positive reviews below are from Jason M who is the owner of Booya! Media and the ufo sample site, he even responded to his own positive review! The iTunes reviews of that app are bad as well. So then I checked their clients page to see other samples, but those sites are all dummy sites. Do your research before using this product!

  I would love to have an iphone app like this one, but the only problem with this is the price. I have money to buy it, but know the costs and know development and it really is high priced in this situation. I can see if Social Engine was $15,000 and then your price would be fine, but when you have an price beyond the core product it doesn't make any sense to buy.
  
  It's like buying a new car and putting in a music system that is more than its worth, why? why!!!! lol

  We not only plug into Social Engine, but any social network. Our price is very reasonable should you try to build this app on your own with all the tools we have included plus, fully integrated into the Social Engine Admin.
  
  Once you do your research on cost you will see we have the best cost effective solution!

• Outrageous

  Whenever a developer takes someone else's hard work (Social Engine), marks it up for profit and on top of it charges extreme monthly fees for someone elses hard work is outrageous. But thanks for the idea though ... Trying to profit from SE ... What goes around comes around. Soon, someone will take your ideas and hard work and do the same as you guys ... Profit from it. Firm impressions ...

  It takes allot more than just buying the SE package to run a successful social network. There are hosting fee's, technical support, community management, etc.
  
  I know there are allot of people that don't have a budget to successfully roll out a top level site, so starting on your own is always great cost effective option.

• Best App Ever - Making money from my SE!

  We are now selling our app via iTunes and it has allowed us to make some nice residual income from our social network. The PUSH alerts are the best since you can instantly send Text Alerts to all users. Even if their phone is in silent mode, the PUSH alert will wake up their phone and alert them to the message. Members can set the radius at which they want to receive alerts from activity around them.

  The Member Map
  Here you can see events and where other members on the map are located. When someone is online, they have a “green” badge alerting you they are currently also using the social app. Click on member icons to see their profile and send them messages. Click on the event icons to see user uploaded photos and information about that location.
  
  Tag Locations
  We will customize your “reporting” options to your specific needs. You can allow members to report any number of items and easily tag locations. An easy to use search tool allows users to narrow their search and find specific locations.
  
  Messaging & Friends List
  Users can keep track of their friends and share messages within an easy to use interface. They can scroll through their list of friends and send them messages that they receive instantly on their iPhone. Our easy to use interface alerts you with a “red” badge over the friends tab when you have new messages waiting. You can switch between your friends list and messages with a tap of the screen.

• Too EXPENSIVE

  It's just a crazy price. Competitors of social engine sell such iPhone app for less than $900 and with the source code ! Also the user interface is ugly, the worst for iPhone apps.

  Wow, you don't seem to like anyone's plugins. I think this app is the best I have seen and only one I can sell via iTunes connected to social engine database.
